Dear pigeon friends ,
we had a very hard and catastrofic Hot Spot 1 race. Unfortunatly a big number of pigeons got lost. The start of the race was very good. The pigeons flew to the right direction for near 40 kilometers,but when they reached the mountain they were sratrtlet and got back the other way.The mountain which they have to pass is around 35 klometres long and 1600 meters high.A few hours before there was an earthquake 20 kilometers from the start point and also in another 4 areas. Maybe this also contributed for the losting of the pigeons.We hope not to have any other problems for the future races and to have a interesting final. Good Luck to all.

der 1. Hot Spot über 135 km beim OLR in Sofia am 30.06.2017 wurde zu einem Katastrophenflug. Nur knapp 1/3 der zum Flug eingesetzten Tauben erreichte den Heimatschlag (Ergebnisse siehe Anlage).
Nach intensiven Recherchen dürfte klar sein, dass der maßgebliche Einfluss für diese hohen Verlusten auf ein um 03:00 h (Auflass der Tauben 06:15 h) aufgetretendes Erdbeben in Bulgarien zurückzuführen sein dürfte.

Eindeutig dürfte sein, dass dem Veranstalter für solche Ereignisse kein Vorwurf trifft!
Trotzdem hat der Veranstalter bereits signalisiert, dass wir für 2018 eine Kompensation erhalten werden. Gleichzeitig hoffen wir natürlich, dass wir mit den verbliebenen Tauben weiterhin an einem spannenden und erfolgreichen Wettbewerb teilnehmen werden.
